The dates and details of two important events organised under the New European Bauhaus Facility (NEB Facility) 2026 Call of the European Commission have been announced.
As is well known, the NEB Facility is a comprehensive funding instrument aiming to create sustainable, inclusive and aesthetically pleasing neighbourhoods. The calls launched under this instrument are accessible through the Horizon Europe 2026–2027 NEB Work Programme.
Within the Work Programme, the calls are structured around three main destinations:
Connecting the green transformation, social inclusion and local democracy
Circular and regenerative approaches for the built environment
Innovative funding and new business models for the transformation of neighbourhoods
NEB Facility events aim not only to explain funding opportunities, but also to bring together actors from architecture, social sciences, economics and the cultural and creative sectors, while adopting an interdisciplinary approach and actively involving local communities in the process.
The target audience includes universities, research centres, local authorities, private sector representatives, civil society organisations, and cultural and creative sector actors.
These events offer critical opportunities for stakeholders who wish to prepare effective and well-informed proposals under the NEB Facility calls across Europe.

NEB Facility 2026 Online Call Info Day- 24 February 2026
The NEB Facility 2026 Call Info Day, to be organised online by the European Commission, will provide potential applicants with first-hand information.

NEB Facility Project Marketplace Event (Brussels) - 5 March 2026
NEB Facility matchmaking 2026 is also planned for consortia preparing proposals under the NEB Facility call following the info day, which will be held on the 24th of February. This matchmaking event is organised by the NEB4All network and includes:

Venue: Usquare, Brussels, Belgium
Scope: Partner search, project idea presentation, and networking opportunities
Registration: Open and free of charge until 1 March 2026; profile approval is mandatory and participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis
Participating organisations and individuals are expected to provide an English organisational profile and at least one project collaboration entry in the marketplace.
Participation is limited to a maximum of two representatives per organisation, with a total capacity of 110 participants.
Within the scope of the Project Marketplace, organisations will also have the opportunity to present short project pitches and introduce themselves in the context of the NEB Facility.
Those wishing to deliver a pitch are required to submit their presentations in PDF and PPT formats by 1 March 2026 to bdebrouwer@hub.brussels
